The Blue waters project is a man-made island that will essentially be a mixed use development located in Dubai. Blue waters will carry retail, residential, hospitality and entertainment zones . The project consists of a luxury hotel, a large family hotel and 2 serviced apartment buildings with a beach club and conference center as part of the hotel development raised at a cost of 1.6 Billion dollars. Roles :
Responsible for the construction of the all facades in this projects which includes all the glazing work, Aluminum cladding, Tile & stone cladding,EIFS(External Insulation Finishing System ) Resysta louvers & ceilings, Cement board ceilings & walls & Mechanical Louvers. Project is completely wrapped with insulation.
Details of Experience
Supervising project activities and handling the complete project management cycle entailing requirement gathering and final execution of the project.
Reviewing method of statements & risk assessments before proceeding up with an activity.
Raising Site Clarification Requests regarding various site related issues and getting approval for the same from the consultants to ensure works are not delayed at site.
Trouble shooting when problem occurs in the site. Through innovative ideas.
Deputation of Manpower.
Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, reports on work progress & evaluating as per the planned schedules
Reviewing variations claimed by the sub-contractor.
Coordination with Sub contractors in response to the Site Instruction given by the consultant and coordinate meeting and working out a process to resolve the various inter-related issues.
Scrutinizing the consultant comments to establish the changes in the scope of works and raising the request for the issuing of the variation instruction if it is required
Co-ordination with sub-contractor in establishing installation sequences
