Over view of skills and responsibilities
Build mud pumps
Use common hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools, including drill presses, punches, hydraulic assembly presses, etc. as well as Mics, depth mics and ID mics
Pressure test pumps under load.
Accountable for correct alignment/indication/balancing of pump and motor units within .005” tolerance.
Accountable for tracking the quality of entire jobs from start to finish,
Responsible for assembling comprehensive rigging and hydro testing pumps
Disassembly of the hydro test equipment after satisfactory test completion.
Operate overhead cranes of various sizes and lift capacities.
Operated several forklift types (stand up and sit down of different sizes).
Responsible for maintaining my own well-organized and safe work station.
Responsible to assemble and troubleshoot mud pumps of various sizes.
Capable of using assorted detailed measuring devices including micrometers and scales.
Responsible for reading blueprints and applying that data to the assembly process.
Experience operating Gantry cranes of enormous lifting capabilities.
Final inspection of all components before assembly.
Read and work off of engineering prints.
Identifying non-conforming parts and scrap parts.
Writing accurate documentation for NCRs and scrap items.
Keeping records of all heat numbers and all documents necessary for traceability.
Keeping accurate logs of assembled parts.
Filling out check lists and paperwork for assembly records.
Adding assembled parts in inventory control program.
Packaging assembled parts for shipping.
Keeping track of Jobs in progress and completed.
Placing parts into inventory.
Load pumps on truck
Shipping and receiving including UPS/Fed EX.
Help train new technicians.
