Extensive (over 30 years) experience as a medical transcriptionist, including owning/operating a medical transcription service since 1995, with diverse clients including orthopedics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, medical oncology/hematology, radiation oncology, general surgery, family practice, internal medicine, pulmonology, infectious disease, otolaryngology, and psychiatry. Ability to transcribe most specialties, difficult dictators, and those with foreign accents. Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and transcription industry standards, with the ability to use resources well to ensure document accuracy.
