Resume about my experience:

I am a graduate of the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Germany. Following this, I undertook a postgraduate course in Neurosurgery (Residency and Higher Speciality Training Programmes) at the Department of Neurosurgery, The University Hospital of Würzburg, Germany until 2012 with specifically practical experience in Neurooncology, Spinal Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Peripheral Nervous System, Neurotraumatology, neurosurgical ICU, Hydrocephalus, Neuromonitoring, Posterior Fossa and Skull-base Surgery. Then obtained the German Board of Neurosurgery (Facharzt für Neurochirurgie) in February 2012, and Doctoral Degree issued by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Würzburg, Germany in May 2012. Had a fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery, I have been working as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Germany since February 2012, and as a Senior Conultant since October 2012.

Currently, I am working as Senior Consultant of Neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery and division director of Neurophysiology in the University Hospital Marburg in Germany (maxicare-Accredited Tertiary University Hospital). I am 43 years old, native in german, fluent in english and arabic (writing and speaking), married, 2 kids.

At the same time, I am a Clinical Professor Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Marburg. Meanwhile, I am working on daily bases duties, dealing with medical reports and organising patients' follow up processes. In addition, conducting scientific research and generating up to date publications. I am actively participating in daily preparation of theatre lists and supervising medical students and junior doctors in their careers. I am very keen to communicate with medical device companies in order to provide the utmost to our patients.

Medical Responsibilities and Duties:

Care to poly-trauma, hemorrhages, or other patients with affected nervous system in

Emergency case, providing surgery, and in the intensive care unit. Effective therapeutic regimes

were carefully prepared and realized.

Care to outpatients, diagnosis, and identify the medical indication for neurosurgical treatment.

The further care to those patients can go on as out- or inpatients, with or without surgery.

After providing the procedure a post-treatment care was done till the neurosurgical therapy

Was completed.

For the benefit of patients, maintaining of intensive collaborations with neighboring disciplines

such as Anesthesiology; Neuroradiology; Neurology; ENT surgery; Cardio-thoracic

Surgery, Craniofacial Surgery, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, etc. is fundamental.

As Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon, I am responsible for decision making, providing surgery,

and supervision of the team in the operating room and in the neurosurgical station as well

as consulting services of other hospitals.

These services are subjected to a permanent quality control. The hospital, where I work is

certified according to transparency and quality, and On Concert (German Cancer Society).

It provides physicians (residents in the hospital with a supervision consultant) on call duties round-

the-clock.

My previous research activities contain cervical spinal canal stenosis, as well as clinical work related to Skull Base Tumors, including CP Angle tumors and intraoperative safety of the cranial nerves during surgery, especially the facial nerve by the Neuromonitoring Procedure, neuroprotective strategies and developments of experimental animal models, alluding to many publications in peer reviewed journals. I won the award for the presentation and research finding by the Blockade of bradykinin receptor B1 reduces brain injury in a mouse model of neurotrauma during the Joint Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery with the Austrian, Czech and Slovak Neurosurgical Societies, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany 22-24 April 2010.
