WORK EXPERIENCE:
Diamond Materials Technology
01/2014 – 10/2015
Colorado Springs, CO 80907
At DMT I worked as a certified wire technician, operating millions of dollars’ worth of electroplating tools. I was responsible for setting up and monitoring electroplating tools to ensure the production of high quality diamond cutting wire. I was tasked with setting up tools to engineering specifications, monitoring chemistry of baths, and performing periodic checks of various components of electroplaters.
I also trained and assisted in various tasks in the chemistry department. These tasks included testing the chemistry of electroplater bath solutions, and making adjustments to ensure bath composition was within specification limits.
Lastly I aided determining the quality of our product in the metrology department. In the metrology lab I would take raw cuts and prepare them for analysis in a laser assisted measurement machine. I would then measure the cuts on a nanometer scale to ensure uniformity.

I was also responsible for closing the store at the end of the business day, which included: counting the cash for the deposit, sorting credit card receipts, distributing tips to other employees, and ensuring the store was properly cleaned for the following day.
Additional responsibilities included: taking customer orders, preparing sandwiches and salads for customers, placing orders to the restaurant's supplier, and taking deliveries.
