Stochastic Processes
{ Obtained an e ective approximation for the machine-repair model via heavy- tra c limits.
{ Obtained an e ective approximation for the multi-class priority model via heavy-tra c limits.
{ Found a relationship between closed and open queueing systems.
{ Developed a xed-point technique for analyzing the general service policy in the queueing theory.
Discrete Event Simulation
{ Developed a Bayesian method that accounts in the a ects of errors in the ap- proximations of input parameters: Instead of point-approximation for input parameters, this technique uses an interval-estimation of input parameters and then utilizes a sampling technique to simulate output. This technique also provides some insight on the analysis of output.
Applied Statistics
{ Developed a Bayesian method to construct con dence intervals.
{ Found the con dence intervals of the weibull distribution which works for type I censored data, or type II censored date, or data without censoring. Teaching
