Project Lead Capstone Project (April – June 2013)

●In conjunction with my team, we developed an EHR (Electronic Health Record) implementation plan (from inception to go-live) including the business case, project management, change management, IT infrastructure design, data migration, interoperability, and other subsidiary plans for a three site community clinic. The EHR was a certified cloud-based, open source EMR (OpenEMR™).

●I was the project lead and also made a final presentation of the plan, with my team, to a board of EHR experts. All project documents were submitted for approval and we received great praise for both planning and presentation.

National Stores Inc. (Fallas), San Pablo, California, September 2012 – February 2014

Manager

Due to my overall performance by reorganizing the home department and subsequently improving sales, I was promoted after six months from the Home department team lead to a managerial position overseeing over 20 workers. I was responsible for assisting with the overall operation and performance of the store.

I helped increase sales and improved customer satisfaction through proper visual merchandising and customer relations while working on Special projects based on corporate merchandising directions.

I helped create a project oriented environment in Neo Multimedia’s work execution.

Project work encompassed Government parastatals, oil and gas servicing, insurance, advertising and marketing sectors.

Built and oversaw teams of up to 15 developers, designers and content producers for Neo Multimedia Concepts, her partners and clients to deliver projects on scope and on budget.

Ensured Project Plans matched with the scope and deliverables as outlined in the Statements of Work (SOW). Preventing scope creep.
