CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER Jan 2014 – Dec 2015
Responsible for the operations of Khurais Oil & Gas Producing department control systems (plant capacity 1.2 million barrel a day)
Led a team of Engineers and Technicians to raise the plant network security compliance with industrial control system (ICS) security standards and ARAMCO standards. Within one year, increased the compliance level from 67% to 93%.
Developed a power monitoring system for the entire plant by establishing a virtual network utilizing plant information system (PI) data and control system tags to examine and analyze major equipment’s consumption and behaviors. This resulted in $130,000 in cost savings with 90% reading accuracy.
Routinely took a lead on urgent engineering and operation issues and investigations to resolve matters with a global focus; assembled cross-functional teams, conducted root cause analysis and implemented process improvements by using appropriate problem-solving techniques, for example (fishbone diagram, pareto charts, and matrix diagram).
INSPECTION SYSTEMS ENGINEER SEP 2012 – DEC 2013
Represented the Inspection Department in the SAIF to SAP Project as a client agent
Collaborated with IT project team to transfer and improve all inspection processes and systems within the company’s 32 producing plants to be automated and centralized in one robust SAP solution.
