• Worked with team in redesigning and restructuring the production washroom and chemical pre-weigh room implementing 5S method and LEAN principles, resulted in improving flow and efficiency of the work done in these rooms
• Created 3-D model of new layout using Google SketchUp to demonstrate optimized process flow and equipment arrangement
• Evaluated various production line performances and performed in field observations to assess equipment capabilities using time study skills and interviews with staff to validate efficiency standards
• Evaluated production tool crib to expedite parts handling process by making the location and storage area of parts more convenient, resulting in recommendations offered to increase efficiency in production line changeovers
