Quality Engineer / Quality Systems Engineer – First Quality Engineer on start-up Team for greenfield plant producing all Class A body panels new VW Atlas SUV produced at VW Chattanooga. Worked with stamping die qualifications at internal and external build sites in Spain and Germany, including travel for run-offs and part qualifications with VW. Primary engineer for development of VW SQE relationships, set-up of Portal (as Administrator) and preparation and submittal of PPAPs (BeON). Designated as Quality Systems Engineer to develop Procedures, Instructions and Forms for all processes toward goal of VW A rating and VDA 6.3 and IATF Certifications in 2018. Certification as Lead Auditor and Supplier (external) Auditor to ISO/TS 16949. Also completion of VW VDA 6.3 auditor training and IATF upgrade course to new standard.

Quality Engineering Supervisor – Management of seven quality engineers and 14 quality techs. supporting all aspects of current model production including customer contact & supplier development. Includes all 8D/5Why activities, containment, sorting, and customer responses. Plant produces three commodities including automotive instrument panels (class A surfaces), HVAC units, injection molded plastic parts with assembly of glove boxes, center consoles and other interior (class A) parts.
