Project: Visa Extras

Visa Extras is a loyalty platform intended to help clients/issuers increase card usage among their cardholders. This points-based program rewards cardholders for using their enrolled Visa card(s) in the system. For eligible card programs and accounts, once enrolled, cardholders earn points for each qualifying purchase made using their enrolled Visa cards. Cardholders can then redeem points for rewards in the Visa Extras rewards catalog for everyday items such as movie tickets, retail gift certificates, merchandise, travel certificates, dining etc.,

Responsibilities:

Ensured quality of each release by extensively reviewing product feature requirements, technical specifications and writing comprehensive test plans to assure end-to-end robustness of products.

Interacting with developers from the design & development phase on the features / bugs.

Provided test plans and participated in test plan reviews.

Performing end to end testing by creating and validating the data in flat files (CRF, CMF, BAF, TF) for creating test ranges, cardholders and applying bonus and transactions.

The Visa Travel Notification Service allows participating Issuers’ cardholders or Customer Service agents to report and manage travel plans to improve customer service and reduce call volume. Travel plans are sent to the Visa Travel Tag database and passed to Visa Net for monitoring and inclusion in the Visa Travel Authorization Tag scoring process Responsibilities.
