environment, maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency, and complying
with ABS and PEMEX rules and regulations.

Chief Engineer new build dynamically positioned, 6th Generation, drill ship (Drill Max).
Commissioned all systems then worked with the Rig for two years in operation while always
maintaining a Safety first work environment while complying with DNV rules and regulations.
May 2005 –January 2007Marinette Marine, Staten Island, New York
Warranty Engineer- Represent Marinette Marine in resolving problems that occurred on three new
ferries,(4,000 passenger), built for Staten Island Ferry, (Spirit of America, John Marchi, and Guy
Molinari). Responsible for minimizing down time and complying with ABS and USCG requirements.
August 2001- April 2005 GlobalSantaFe, Houston, Texas
Chief Engineer on a new build deep water dynamically positioned 6th Generation, drill rig.
(Development Driller 1)Responsible for drawing reviews and commissioning systems for electrical
power (31 MW), propulsion (8 azipod), auxiliary machinery and accommodations.
June 1999 - August 2001 R&B Falcon, Houston, Texas
Chief Engineer on a new build deep water dynamically positioned Class 3, 6th generation Drill Rig
(Deep Water Horizon). Commissioned Electrical power (41MW), propulsion,
auxiliary machinery and accommodation systems in compliance with ABS.
August 1989- May 1999 Oceaneering, Performer Group, Houston, Tx.
Chief Engineer on board a dynamically positioned class 2 dive support vessel, unlimited classed
with D.N.V. (The Performer). Supervise Engine Department staff and complying with DNV classification.
December1981- August 1989Shell Oil Company, New Orleans, La.
First Assistant Engineer on board a U.S.C.G. unlimited classed diesel electric powered
Vessel (Shell America). Responsible for operation and maintenance of propulsion diesel engines,
and all auxiliary equipment in the engine room. Supervise, coordinate and review oiler staff. Extensive
trouble shooting of all machinery.
LICENSE: Chief Engineer of Motor or Gas Turbine Vessels, Unlimited Horsepower.
