Caterpillar is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. Caterpillar has been using legacy system called GGS for managing their SLM data (Service Lifecycle Management). Caterpillar is in the process migrating all their systems to Windchill 10.1 M030 to make use of the features available in Windchill. This project involves migration of the SLM data from Legacy system to Windchill 10.1 using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM 2.2) and also developed the custom utility (BOM Import Tool) to create the part, BOM and Service Information by scanning the input from excel sheet.
