PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Since January 2015, joined New Habari (2006) Limited as Mechanical Technician, in Production Department. Apprenticeship now I am qualified and competent in Mechanical Engineering activities such as manufacturing, fabrication, welding and general maintenance of equipment and machines. I am currently with New Habari (2006) Limited. With New Habari (2006) Limited my experience is summarized as follows: Preventive Maintenance:

• I am full competent with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/serving of machines, generator and compressor.

• To make inspection on the components striped and to make report as per reusability guidelines.

• To maintain the press and auxiliary Equipment in the plant, install and commission new equipment and supervise service level providers.

• To use the production maintenance software to plan weekly, monthly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance task.

Manufacturing:

I am full competent in both machining, welding and fabrication. September, 2012-December 2014

At The Guardian Newspaper Limited, worked as Mechanical Technician. My main responsibility was:

• To attend the breakdown promptly during production and solves problems within the shortest time possible.

• To recommend to the Press Manager Operation the spare parts to be ordered.

• To do the general maintenance of machines, and servicing generator and compressors.

• To write the report of production.
