I worked for three years as an electrical engineer at SWCC, Al-Jubail Plant, Saudi Arabia; specifically, in the power house. This power plant is the biggest desalination plant all over the world with a huge production capacity that produces more than 46,000 Cu m/hour of distilled water alongside with 1600 MW of electricity.
Duties include:
Plan, schedule, review and update routine maintenance activities of electrical equipment. Conducting the daily activities of preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers, motors, timers and actuators. P U B L I C A T I O N
My research paper “ EKG Signals – De-noising and Features Extraction” has been published in American Journal of Biomedical Engineering (volume6, number 6). The following is the research paper link:
http://article.sapub.org/10.5923.j.ajbe.20160606.04.html It developed a new algorithm to process EKG signal and effectively extract all important features of it through multistage filters and wavelet transform using Matlab programming language. what has been elaborated on the research paper is extended in my capstone project where the EKG Signal is obtained in a real time. Then, amplified using instrumentation amplifier. Thereafter, the signal is fed to the PC through microphone outlet. The Matlab Program I designed which exceeds 1700 lines of code process the signal, denoise it, and extract important features. Graphical user interface is designed to Display row EKG signal, Fourier Transform, EKG after High pass filter, EKG after Low pass filter, EKG after Haar wavelet. graph of QRS Complex detection and hear rate, graph of P waves detection and duration of each waves, and graph of T wave detection and duration of each wave.
