Project Coordinator / Stock Yard & Pellet Plant Maintenance Supervisor

Vallourec Sumitomo do Brasil (VSB) – July 2009 – Present

Joint venture between French group Vallourec and Japanese Sumitomo Metals, in the area of premium connections supplying to the oil and gas sector. In 2007 initiated the construction of a new seamless steel tube plant (joint investment of US$1.6 billion). VSB’s steel complex is being built in Brazil and will produce 600 thousand tons of seamless tubes of steel/year and will generate approximately 1.5 thousand direct jobs.

RESPONSABILITIES: Financial and technical hired companies contracts control, quality evaluation check for the hired companies and also follow up for the action plan for technical problems. Management of all activities regarding the mechanical maintenance in Stock Yard and Pellet Plant of the Steel Company, including the management of human, technical, financial and quality resources. All mechanic support for the Chinese project related to the Pellet Plant (2009/2010).
