• Preparing and executing the process flowchart of the project.

• Confirm how many I/O’s and what are all the switch gears are required and selecting the PLC model with their version. (We used Mitsubishi FX3U, FX5U

& Q-series, GX DEVELOPER & Siemens S7 200 series)

• Interfacing the PLC with external devices through Ethernet, RS232, RS485 Communication, and handling analog signals.

• Organizing the Motors, Drives VFD’s, Measuring Instruments etc.,

• Electrical diagrams designing through Autocad as per the project requirement and handling the team to accomplish the wirings physically and ensured.

• Simultaneously PLC ladder logic programmes will be started.

• Following up and organizing the materials which are required.

• After completion of physical wirings and ensure it by cold test.

• Powered up the machine and upload the PLC program and check the inputs and outputs and run the program and ensure the process as per the flow chart / customer requirement.

• Managing activities right from the execution of Interfacing electrical instruments through control panels, erection, testing & commissioning.

• Attending troubleshooting at customer end and find out the solutions.

• Apart from that we do check the mechanical pneumatic components which are received as per drawing and the valves, cylinders are responses with respect to PLCs Inputs/Outputs as per requirement.

• Documentation are properly submitted while dispatching the machine.

Worked as a Field Application Engineer from till March 2014 at M/s. Kalycito Infotech Pvt Ltd, Trichy Road, Coimbatore.

Responsibilities

• Plan and visits to customer premises for field visit, requirement analysis, installation, commissioning and calibration for field equipments, GUI configurations, services and documentations.

• Train up the team and work with them to get positive results. Coordinate with sales team so that customer needs are met. Debugging Hardware and Software units.

• Prepare relevant reports, documents, presentation and data for training sessions at customer end.

• Working on monitoring and analysis the product. The Central Unit Software and Remote Units Hardware together acts as a monitoring platform. Creating the dashboards, reports, graphs will displays the live data as icons, values with options to group them as customer required.

• Maintaining the database monitoring system and energy data collections through Electronic devices such as Elmeasure energy meters, Schneider meters, Conserve meters etc., by using RS485 Communication.
