MS geologist with 6+ years experience as mud logger/logging geologist. Expertise in clastic and carbonate lithologic identification/description, wellsite operations, and data collection, evaluation and presentation. Computer skills include Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Petrel, SES geosteering software, and various types of logging software including Wellsite and Mainlog.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Lead mud logger/logging geologist on numerous vertical, horizontal (single and multi-lateral) and sidetrack wells drilled in northern and southeastern Oklahoma, eastern Anadarko basin, Permian Basin of west Texas and New Mexico, south Texas Eagle Ford trend, East Texas Basin, Woodbine play of east Texas, central and southern Piceance basin, Uinta basin, and southwestern Indiana.

Collected and reviewed reference data and technical packages for each well that included SOR objectives, correlation/offset logs, maps and seismic lines, and geologic prognoses.

Ensured subsurface lithology and show descriptions, mud logging, MWD, directional drilling, and mud engineering activities were fully aligned to deliver planned/revised drilling objectives.

Established and maintained regular interaction/communication with well site company men, 3rd party team leaders/members, rig personnel, and office-based operations geologist.

Operational/wellsite responsibilities included picking casing and coring points, making formation top and fluid marker picks, revising geologic marker and target projections, evaluation of hydrocarbon shows, geosteering, witnessing open hole log acquisition, daily distribution of reports and associated files/interpreted data, and mentoring of less experienced personnel.
