Compliance Project Management Supply Chain Finance Planning, Budgeting and Reporting Accounting SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Improved profitability from 7% to 19% and strengthened compliance in Nigeria. This resulted in growing market share and doubling of local staffing from 400 to over 750 over a 3 year period.

• Re-engineered North America freight payment processes, resulted in 55% vendor elimination and recovery in excess of $6 million in duplicate payments and over charges in 6 months.

• Led company-wide Finance process re-engineering consolidating accounting functions (GL, ARCC, AP, Fixed Assets and master data maintenance) into internal shared services for 8 Divisions in US, Venezuela, Germany and UK. The impact was fully integrating Finance, Order Management and Supply Chain functions. Resulted in significant systems maintenance and transaction cost saving.

• Developed and implemented sales and operational planning (S&OP) process for managing bulk materials

(sand, water and chemicals) resulting in reducing inventory purchasing requirements in excess of $95 million and freight reduction in excess of $20 million over a period of 15 months. CAREER HISTORY

BAKER HUGHES INCORPORATED, Houston, Texas 1989 –2016 Senior Financial Planning Analyst Manager (2016)

Provided financial planning and analytical support to senior management for the following product lines: Drill Bits Manufacturing, Chief Technology Research Centers, Geosciences, and Direct Marketing.

• Maintained tight cost control during worst industry down-turn in recent history by providing timely monthly quality financial data and assisting operations management in monitoring and executing cost reduction strategies.

• Avoided losing technical capabilities in spite of significant work force reduction, allowing company to be ready for upturn.

Finance Manager North America (NA) Logistics (2015) Provided financial oversight for NA logistics support group for all divisions including compliance with policies, procedures and vendor management. Addressed audit issues and implemented solutions

• Negotiated new vendor contracts, allowing 100% of the freight invoices to be systematically audited reduced overcharges and duplicate payments by more than $6 million in 6 months.

• Centralized all new vendor additions which ensured vendors met the minimum HS&E requirements.

• Implemented financial analytics to identify cost reduction strategies and recommended revised freight bill auditing method,

Acquisition Integration Manager (2010 – 2011)

Project leader to integrate the finance organization of the acquired company BJ Services by Baker Hughes in the Enterprise finance organization

• Developed trust with acquired employees and ensured understanding of the transition plan, which resulted in the successful merging of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Taxes, Inter Company, Reporting and Treasury.

Country Financial Controller Nigeria (2007 – 2010) Held joint responsibility with the Managing Director for the P&L and balance sheet; provided oversight for finance and business management for company operations in Nigeria.

• Implemented a compliance culture to comply with the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA) and Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Implemented new internal controls environment which improved audit rating from unsatisfactory to very good over two years.

• Worked closely with Tax and Legal departments to successfully defend two major government tax audits, significantly reducing original penalties by 70%.

• Restructured and consolidated all support functions (finance, HR, procurement, billing and compliance) of eight product lines into a single Geo market structure with increased localized staffing to 98% from 80%.
