Director / Middleware-Release Engineering
Hands-on manager of Middleware Engineering and Release Engineering. Work closely with Application Development, Database Administration, Web Front End, Systems Engineering and Helpdesk groups.
• Responsible for the build-out and configuration of PCI compliant middleware environments on JBOSS EAP 5.1, 6.0, 6.4, .NET, IIS and Apache.

Researched and implemented the deployment of web-based ActiveX client controls using Microsoft’s Internet Component Download technology. Implemented the digital signing of deployable web controls using VeriSign certificates.

XYQuest was a windows based word processing software company working in conjuction with IBM to integrate both DOS and Windows and OS/2 products.
National Language Support (NLS) Specialist
Technical specialist involved in the development of 13 national language versions of Signature as contracted by International Business Machines (IBM). Signature was designed as the global replacement for DisplayWrite word processing software. Developed expert knowledge of all aspects of software internationalization including codepage and keyboard support, international formats for currency, dates, time and decimals, and sort sequences.
Co-developed a translation tool which simplified the translation process and generated over $100K in contract payments from IBM. This tool facilitated the successful translation of all components of the product including the installation, executable file and user interface (CUA). Acted as corporate liaison between XYQUEST and IBM translation centers based in Europe and Iceland.
