Summary
I have worked my way up to Head Shift Supervisor at a large freezer Warehouse for 20 years, so I am no quitter.
My job consisted of the following duties:
Job assignment for warehouse employees.
FIFO and inventory count of all products.
Shipping and receiving as well as paperwork for both.
Multi drop picking, staging, loading as well as the live loading of products.
Forklift experience on 3 stage High as well as Low boys, slip sheeter, clamper.
Receiving off line produced products and the locating of all.
I have a current forklift licence as well as St. Johns training.
I also kept moral at a high as WE ( yes i preferred to work along side My Guys as you get a more productive work force when you have their respect ). Once you have earned their respect, there is no stopping your shift.
Keep them laughing and having fun, for if you command out of fear you will have more mistakes. They should work hard for you because they want to,not because they have to.
I am also familiar with the WMS system, forget the nightly shutdowns-the monthly is a killer when your busy. I have dealt with this situation many times in the past, scanning in off line manual tags, recording product, lot, exp dates on unloading products, then scanning them in when the system comes back up.
Whatever it took to keep inventory perfect.
SAP HACCP experience as well.
Used to 12 hour Shifts.
I am the one you are looking for.
