This job was in Pelican Island/Galveston, TX. @ a shipyard. I have 13 years experience in the shipyards. This is not counting 6 years in the Chemical Plants, Power Plants, and Nuclear Plants. I have worked with this company off and on. The work varies. The requirements: Stick and Flux Core weld on old and new material. I worked on jack-up rigs, oil rigs, mechanic rigs, barges, and tug boats. I did a lot of welding and when required I operated a cutting torch.
