Leading Marketing Firm,
I will add value to your team by being a reliable, hard-working and fast-learning employee. By starting my Bachelor’s degree in Economics a few years after graduating high school, I had time to gain some valuable skills and life experience. This enabled me to return to my education a focused and more experienced person who is ready to take the next step in starting my career.
The job requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative environment. As a lifelong athlete in team sports, these are skills that have become second nature to me. This was recognized when I was named alternate captain of a Western Hockey League team at 20 years old.
During the spring of 2016 I worked for a door-to-door sales company who specialized in lawn maintenance and window washing. I quickly rose to one of the top sellers within two weeks. The only problem was that I was making a small commission on each sale. I decided to save money, buy the equipment and start my own business. I joined with two of my University of Calgary Dinos teammates and taught them the sales skills I acquired at Canadian Property Stars. We quickly became successful and were earning 3x what I was originally earning.
I believe my skills in leadership, efficiency, problem solving, and motivation would make me a positive addition to your team. If you would like to get in touch to discuss my application and to arrange an interview, you can contact me via email or phone.
I look forward to discussing the opportunity further,
Sincerely,
Dylan Walchuk
