EXPERIENCE:
Working as Manager Maintenance for M/S ANTONY ROAD TRANSPORT SOLUTION Pvt Ltd for the maintenance of Ashok Leyland buses with SGI Engines. (116 Buses). (JULY 2015 TO TILL DATE)
Key Responsibilities Undertaken:-
To minimize the reported breakdowns of buses by maintaining them during 10 days pit inspection, docking, general checkup which are being carried out as per the schedule.
Providing on-site repair 24*7 to the required buses and guiding team in deployment of mechanics/electricians, considering cost required for the repair.
Keeping the maximum uptime for the buses and ensuring the 98% of the fleet availability on daily basis.
Assisting supervisors with all fleet cost and performance.
Ensuring compliance to safety regulations at all the times.
To conduct training for all the technicians related to functionary parts and the problem occurring in them and the rectification for the same.
Conducting fleet evaluation to ensure maintenance standards are met up to the mark.
To maintain & check the record of spare parts management. It includes monthly forecasting depending on different factors e.g. parts required for docking, pit inspection.
Negotiating price for parts and service with the various vendors and oversee the purchasing of facility supplies and equipment.
To keep a track record of inventory and to minimize the order value by practicing the use of repaired parts from OEM’s.
To do PDI checks for the new buses and documenting them properly.
To keep the record of the failure parts and reason with diagnosis report. And to check them for warranty replacement from OEM’s.
To ensure that diver complaints are attended and all the correct troubleshooting steps have been followed for rectification. The report is being registered for each and every complaint & the action taken against it.
To do accidental investigation and preparing documents on the same to process claim from the insurance company.
To provide Drivers training to the fleet drivers regarding the safety and bus maintenance.
