Summary:
Over 23 years of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry working directly in manufacturing and printing roles:
Manufacturing experience includes Class 8 cleanroom manufacturing line support in the forms of lot history record-keeping, production line set-up, assembly tool management, hazardous chemical handling and disposal, training of employees on proper usage of required personal protective equipment (PPE), entry of all computer-based production line records, assembler time-keeping management, production line part ordering to ensure uninterrupted production, reporting of shift production statistics and disposal of production scrap.
Printing experience includes being a Press Operator running a 2 color 29 inch Heidelberg Offset Press in the company’s on-site Print Shop. Additional equipment regularly used were cutters, folders, plate makers, and pad printers. Besides press operation responsibilities, I was responsible for most maintenance on the Heidelberg. Additional education completed in support of the Print Shop was the du Pont Stop-Training safety course. All Heidelberg press operators were tasked with working independently to strict specifications with no Quality Assurance oversight. As such, I was directly responsible for my own quality through documented job checks.
