26th to 30th Dec 2011:- Attended training on various aspects for laboratory Diagnosis of leprosy at Mycobacterial Research Laboratory, Anandaban Hospital.

During the period I was able to gain knowledge about laboratory aspects on mice inoculation for drug sensitivity testing against Mycobacterium leprae in leprosy patients, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) & SDS-PAGE electrophoresis of mycobacterial DNA & One day training on slit skin smear for the clinical diagnosis of Mycobacterium leprae.
