QA Analyst

The web application used for this project had two modules: Insurance and Financial. Each module has subcategories. Insurance module offers different types of insurance and program. It offers different insurance quotes according to the users needs.

Responsibilities:

Reviewed Business Requirement Documents and the Technical Specification.

Involved in developing test automation strategy.

Responsible for designing Automation Test Plan and developing scripts using QTP.

Created various verification points to verify properties, object data, window existence and also AUT insert, update and delete records correctly, Data-Driven and Keyword-Driven Frameworks using QTP.

Designed and Created Test plans and Test Scripts as per business requirements and functional Specifications using QTP.

Performed manual testing by executing Test cases for all modules before creating automated scripts to validate the test procedure.

Prepared the Test Scenarios and Master Test Plan for the UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Acted as liaison with UAT Test Supervisor.

QA System Tester

This is an online application for Customer Accounts. The customers can login to their accounts and can make changes to their service package. They can add or remove certain features from their phone line. Customers can also review and pay their bills online. Payments can be made to AT&T as one-time payment or an account with automatic deductions from a Credit Card or Checking Account can be setup.

Responsibilities:

Involved in analyzing the business requirements, write Test plan, created and executed Test cases.

Extensively used QC, JIRA for bug tracking.

Parameterized the required fields to run in different environments.

Extensively Queried through SQL to check the database records.

Conducted different type of testing (smoke, black box, functional, integration, UI, data, interface, performance, regression).

Developed, Enhanced, and Maintained automated testing scripts with QTP.

Performed Parameterization using Data Driven.

All the issues that came up during this process were logged in QC as defects.
