Summary

I am a US Navy veteran having served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1990-1991 as a Combat Medic and EMT with the USMC. I spent the better part of the next 25 years working as an Emergency Medical Tech and Patient Care Tech and also spent time as an Armed Security Officer and Security Supervisor with companies that include Dallas County Security. The Federal Reserve and US DHS/TSA. I then spent time in TDCJ but took the initiative to gain Vocational Training in Plumbing/Pipefitting and Electrical Trades and I am currently registered with NCCER (#10835024) having completed NCCER CORE, CSSO/CTE Site Safety and 600 hours of Plumbing Level 1 and 2, Pipefitting Level 1 and 600 hours in Electrical Trades. I am capable of operating most hand/power tools for these trades and have some practical experience gained through hands on training. I also have some skills in using oxy fuel equipment such as cutting torches. I am also OSHA certified on a sit-down forklift. I am very hard working and safety oriented and I easily learn new things. I am team and detail oriented and I also work well independently with little or no supervision. I have strong office skills and am good at customer relations and possess detailed organizational skills. I am a proven leader and have strong supervisory skills.
