Oversee the importation/shipping of wall and ceiling fans from Brazil and China warehouses; coordinate all logistics. Within the warehouse, manage team responsible for inspecting fan units, completing final assemblies, testing, and filling orders received from more than 300 showrooms within the United States. Manage final assembly, testing, and shipping of residential and commercial light fixtures made using custom-made glass through WPT Design. Design/implement production procedures; research, and design products. Track/monitor inventories and manage shipping/receiving. Ensure optimum levels of customer service; receive/process new orders.
Selected Contributions:
• Complete global and national travel to multiple customers to directly address issues, including: Dallas to train showroom personnel and product installers; China to meet with production personnel to discuss product development, design, and refinement; and to San Diego and Las Vegas to assembly product displays for tradeshows.
• Instrumental in growing the company from two employees, to status as an international supplier of both ceiling fans and light fixtures.
