Manufacturing Engineer Sept. 2012 – Present (2016)

Worked as process engineer for six months evaluating and testing new products and got promoted to project management to transfer new commercial refrigeration products and production line to other facilities for margin improvements. Lead quality, manufacturing, materials, and sales team for new product introduction and documentation.

Manufacturing project results:

Transferred new commercial refrigeration products and process from SMD Reynosa (Tamaulipas) facility to Fasco Piedras Negras (Coahuila) facility and obtained $30K of savings and 78k annual volume sales.

Improved loctite application process using lean six sigma tools and reduce 30% of noise ppms.

Standardized varnish on the plant.

Redesigned production lines to improve efficiency.

Improved lead time to provide samples to Juarez (Chihuahua) from 12 days to 5 days to accelerate the simplification project.

Transferred new commercial refrigeration products, process, and equipment from Erwin (Tennessee) facility to Fasco Piedras Negras (Coahuila) facility and obtained $150K of savings due to margin improvements.

Conducted mapping process and capability studies to eliminate bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
