Responsible for TBM operations in accordance with the guidelines.
This covers all machine parameters to be used along the tunnel
MTC - L&T SUCG JV including:
Tunnel/Mechanical Engineer a) Maintenance of face pressure within the bulkhead and screw

b) Ensure accuracy of specified thrust load for each ram or group
of rams to avoid cracking of the segmental lining.
EDUCATION:
Responsible for monitoring the excavated material throughout the mining
Mechanical Engineering cycle to minimize the risk of over breaks.
Anna University Ensure Ring building tolerances are in compliance with applicable
2010 – 2014 regulations specified in contract
Implementation of the annular grouting procedure behind the
secondary lining.
Responsible for the use of Soil conditioning agents during the mining
operations in approved mixes to handle the geotechnical and groundwater
conditions.
Preparing TBM shift reports and maintain daily records.
Co-ordinate with mechanical team for assembly and disassembly of
the TBM’s before the initial drive as well as cutter head and cutter
tool inspection.
Responsible for identifying and communicating any and all safety hazards.
Involved in TBM Dismantling, transportation and packing.
Team lead for the crack and joint leakage reparation.
