• Although the job of a bus boy is often underrated there were times when challenges arose that made the job more important than it is normally considered. These times required greater levels of awareness, swiftness, cooperation and responsibility. Real examples:

• When other workers did not show up for work the responsibility of others was undertaken by bussers (Food runner, host)

• Awareness was required to correctly represent other's responsibilities especially in rush hour.

• Under normal circumstances bussers had to work together swiftly to open up tables especially when there is a waiting list.
