Worked as part of a Field Operations team to mobilize, maintain, and demobilize construction sites, material yards, and field offices across Alberta. Supported multiple individual projects, and several mega-projects. Balanced between coordination efforts with multiple departments, and traveling to field sites.

Engineering Outage Manager, EIT, 2012 – 2013

Worked on-site at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station as part of an outage management team for the commissioning and close-out phases of the Bruce A Units 1 and 2 Refurbishment project. Two reactor units were successfully refurbished to operational standards.

Responsible for managing all engineering critical path and near critical path tasks on Bruce Units 1 & 2 refurbishment

Directly involved with the retrieval of foreign material in the reactor vault, and the engineered repair of a malfunctioning feedwater pump

In addition to management, valuable technical experience was gained by performing walkdowns of BOP components, which complimented my educational background

Quality Controller, EIT, 2011 – 2012

Worked on-site at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station during the plant Refurbishment, Feeder Replacement, and Fuel Replacement.

Verified, completed, and processed Feeder Installation and Fuel Replacement quality assurance/control paperwork
