● client: Etsy.com – 100% Hands-on Sr. Developer on the Ruby on Rails build of the Editor’s Review section of Etsy.com. Worked as the Senior Architect/Manager to kick-off development of a Ruby code base with the company’s newer Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration stack. Participated in Ruby code development with several developers to demonstrate the initial prototype of the Editor’s Review section of the site. Managed delivery on JIRA and headed up the daily SCRUMS for the development team.
● client: Staples.com – 75% hands-on development Manager. Managed this client’s mobile software development team to create a pre-production mobile e-commerce site for Quill.com and UK Staples.com. Developed the mobile site prototype using a HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/Bootstrap wireframe. Managed scope, schedule, costs, business relationships, and technical resources to deliver a digital mobile solution as part of a new retail strategy. Led the integration of Elastic search and MongoDB to create large data cluster scalability with Hadoop enable predictive analytics into customer product searches. This led to a 9% increase in quarterly orders.
● client: Grainger.com – Agile SCRUM Manager for the integration of the Grainger.com website to a new backorder handling system via the Hybris e-commerce platform. Responsibilities included managing SCRUM delivery, sprints, backlog, in Greenhopper. This integration project resulted in an increase over 30% in saved quarterly sales for electromechanical products.
● client: Abbvie - Worked as the Senior Technology Program Manager for the implementation of MobileIron for enterprise management of mobile devices within Abbvie. Managed the mobile device management program on an app-level for the Humira pharma line.
● client: Walgreens PMO - Delivered Agile/SCRUM project management training for Walgreen’s corporate PMO. Created training materials and classes for an IT management community of 182 project managers, program leads, directors and vice presidents. The training was delivered as part of the corporate ReWire program and covered Agile/SCRUM delivery cycles.
● client: Cardinal.com – Interim e-Commerce Development Director for the B2B rebuild Magento software development team.
