Participated in the mentoring program for the training of Sprintdata employees. Responsible for training co-workers in the use of the Exact ASR system, SONET mux, and Multi-point circuit provisioning. Trained all members of the SCO Move Group staff in processing DS3 orders in FMS

Network Engineering
Installed and implemented translations for DMS-250 and class 5 local Nortel network switch for Cable Network Infrastructure using direct switch access and PSP switch interface.
Maintained Sprint’s Toll Free number access network. Installed and migrated new market builds for one switch and two switch model translations for bonded and unbonded cable customers. Managed Toll Free, VPN, and NGVN ticket queue and SDP fallout during work hours and after hours according to on call guideline. Requisition, installation, maintenance and routing of network trunks for ISDN, FNTM, DAL, PRA250, EANT, SIP, SST, ILEC Local, ILEC End Office, ILEC IXC, IMT, OPDA, and 911.
Maintained and supported AOL, Earthlink, Corporate IP, and Packet Data networks, managed Sprintdata central office (SCO) moves for assigned region. Provided complete and detailed spreadsheets for sites as well as equipment ordering and tracking. Successfully project managed the moving of 10+ Sprintdata Central Offices. Problem Solving
Provided on-call support by responding to rapid page outs, ensuring management awareness, monitoring the ACD translation hotline, and enlisting Tier II support per escalation guidelines. Proactively investigated issues to clear translations as a cause.
Research
Managed as Translations POC for the 911 MN Consolidation project for Sprint. Consolidated 48 ILEC trunks/PSAPS down to 11 involving 125+ rate centers.
Searched for new cell site coverage to provide 911 services. Researched & updated 911 dispatch address records. Implemented and executed requests from Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) customers of 911 services for new cell sites.
Researched and reconciled network outages due to incorrect data in the database and switch translations.
Conducted site audits, worked site maintenance projects for address and data changes. Made sure cell sites were operating at the correct Phase level and upgraded where needed. Ensured new cell site completions with Field Ops and RF Engineering for the entire United States.
