American International Group Inc (AIG) Fort Worth, TX Dec 14-Present Global Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Intelligent Automation

Transforming the way AIG works through the introduction of digital labor that is enabled through the combination of Artificial Intelligence and Process Automation capabilities. This approach is driving cost out of the organization while increasing productivity and improving service speed and quality.

Introduced and successfully launched autonomic / autonomous computing and intelligent robotic process automation to develop a self-healing capability for AIG’s globally distributed infrastructure. Developed the strategy, roadmap, built a team, and led the execution. Now, I lead this global team that continues expand of this capability and program. Recent achievements include: o Within 90 days of program launch, my digital labor force, (dubbed virtual engineers) were automatically resolving 40% of the network incidents across the globe, significantly reducing meantime to respond / repair and associated labor and cost. Over 60% end-to-end automation year to-date with a 50% reduction in operational cost while increasing organizational capacity. o Expanded the deployment and use of digitally enabled assets / sensors to leverage the Internet of Things trend (IoT).

o Within 180 Days of program launch, my digital labor force was resolving 33% of the compute incident across the globally distributed Linux, Unix, and Windows Server Environment. o My digital labor force is now handling level 0-2 engineering tasks for AIG’s globally distributed infrastructure, to include; Network, Compute, DB, Storage, Middleware, Citrix, Security and business critical applications, remediating over 165,000 critical events in 2016 alone (without human intervention), saving over 26,000 hours in engineering labor (~73 hours / day) and over

~5,000 hours in end-user productivity each business day. o My digital labor force is now driving ITSM and ITOM practices, specifically targeting automated event, incident, problem, knowledge, change and configuration mgmt. and fulfilment activities.

In the last 90 days, I have also introduced cognitive computing, natural language processing/understanding, and machine learning to go beyond IT and into the business to automate more sophisticated activities and begin unlocking new business opportunities for AIG.
