Managed private residential projects in Dubai (2014) and on secondment to Maram Edrees Est. in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as Project Manager for the DAMAC Esclusiva Twin Towers (32- and 38-story high rise buildings on King Fahad Road in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Achievements:
Joined behind schedule project after one year of construction. Prepared recovery schedule with the contractor which by end of 2015 had enabled the Contractor reduce the project delay from 240 days to 120 days.
Developed project documentation to handover construction from main contractor to the fit-out contractor and return of the areas to the main contractor for completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning of building systems.
Project Director, IMG Worlds of Adventure in the City of Arabia, Dubai, UAE March 2013- May 2014.
Guided the construction management of IMG Worlds of Adventure, a theme park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with a floor area of approximately 100K-square meters with roof heights varying between 23 to 43 meters. The theme park with an estimated budget of approximately $325M was for Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group in Dubai and constituted a single space that was fully air-conditioned and served as home several rides and attractions, cinemas, retail stores, and food and beverage outlets, providing entertainment for all ages of population.
Achievements:
Led the project team in preparation of the project plan.
Worked with ride and attraction manufacturers to include design and construction requirements. Included specifications and electromechanical requirements into electrical, mechanical and control systems documentation.
Developed, and ensured effective implementation of, procedures for successful project management and completion.
Defined responsibilities and duties, while developing systems and procedures for issuing instructions, drawings, certificates, schedules, valuations and report submissions.

Led, mentored and managed for Shankland Cox Ltd. and Chalabi Architects the team completing the project of Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre and surrounding UAE World Desert in AlAin, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The project was designed and built within the allocated budget of $90M, achieved the highest degree of environmental sustainability, and received the LEED Platinum certification from USGBC.
Achievements:
Administered the construction contract based on FIDIC 1992 form of contract.
Monitored the project progress and used Primavera P6 project management software to update the schedule.
Monitored contractor’s project resources against baseline schedule.
Led project meetings, and interfaced with project personnel to provide technical advice and issue resolution.
Oversaw the processing of contractor submitted shop drawings, materials, and equipment to ensure that the approved submittals complied with the contractual requirements.

Successfully managed the consultancy and construction supervision teams, for ARENCO, Architectural & Engineering Consultants in Dubai for the project of Jumeriah Island Heights’ in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The projects comprised of 4 high rise residential building (each 26 stories high), 34 luxury villas, a Village Centre, 6 clusters of luxury apartments, and landscaped areas. The project had a budget of $1B budget. Due to financial downturn in UAE in 2008-2009, the Project slowed down in 2009 and halted in January 2010.

Reviewed project plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, staffing requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of project.
Directed and coordinated activities of project team to ensure that the project progressed on schedule and within prescribed budget.
