SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT:
Vetshonoringvets.com
Website for military veterans organization (ASB.NET and VB)
CLLC
Customer tracking, scheduling, and billing application written for a local lawn care
Company (VB.NET, SQL Express)
ICOP2020VISION Delete Files
VB.NET console application designed to search for and destroy corrupt application files to allow the application to rebuild itself and function (VB.NET console)
iVAULT Case Relocator
Application designed to query a SQL database and locate any evidence that meets a certain age criterion. Once located, the program will relocate the case to a user-defined storage location for safe keeping and update the database accordingly (VB.NET, SQL)
iVAULT Year Updater
This application will query a SQL database using user-defined variables. Once a case(s) meeting the specified variables is/are located, it will display it/them by running dynamic SQL statements and redefine the file creation year in the database. This overcomes a hard-coded application function that deletes videos older than ‘X’ (VB.NET, SQL)
Address Parser
This application parses out lines of text into mailing addresses (Java+Netbeans)
MoveFiles GUI and Console Editions
MovesFiles was designed to intercept functions of an existing app and safely relocate evidence to an off-site storage location (local fixed, mapped, or UNC) locations. It will check to verify that the location exists and is ready prior to relocating. This application was necessary to overcome a bug in another application that allowed evidence to be moved to a location even if that location no longer existed. My application would intercept these files and relocate them safely. File moving would not commence if the location was not ready. It would display a message advising of the reason and offer potential solutions. (VB.NET)
Play Files (enhancement code for existing application)
This application code was build to overcome an issue with certain files not playing if the file type association was not what was expected. ‘Play Files’ was inserted into the application source as opposed to the original code. It would just open whatever the default application was and load the file(s) to play. The main program was no longer under development. I repackaged it and deployed it to many previous customers that were in need of something like this. (VB.NET)
Service Contacts
Technical support contact and RMA application that I developed to streamline tracking technical support phone calls and RMA’s in one large database. The user would enter the details of their interaction (customer information and conversation details) and submit it. If a RMA was needed, they could click on a button and it would automatically generate the RMA paperwork to send the end-user. It also included an Administrator client and search capabilities. (VB.NET, SQL)
DriveLetterCapacityLockout (enhancement code for existing application)
This is was a code snippet I wrote to lock out any drive letters that did not meet the minimum specifications for storage of our evidence files. It would only allow the user to select drives that had the proper amount of free space and display all volume information. (VB.NET)
RubyCalc
Basic calculator. I am currently learning Ruby/RoR. (RoR+Sublime Text)
Various Custom SQL solutions (databases and queries/transactions)
