4.SAUBHAGYA LAXMI SUGAR CO.LTD . Gokak, Karnatka,INDIA. 3000 TCH Sugar plant with 100 TPH Co-gen.is .erection & commissioning completed.

Job description

Summary:

Responsible for supporting multiple project teams as the lead mechanical engineer during the fabrication and installation of heat transfer and environmental compliance products including interpretation and implementation of customer specifications with ASME code or requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Read, interpret and implement the requirements found in customer specifications, design codes, industry standards, and contract documents.

Responsible for the sizing, selection, procurement and inspection of mechanical auxiliary equipment such as fans, valves, expansion joints, tube seals, pressure safety valves, Sugar Hopper, Sugar Grader, Mill Tandem, pumps, steam drums, blow down tanks, and other related equipment.

Develop ASME code calculations, non-destructive examination requirements, and heat treatment guidelines and weld sizing on various projects.

Support the sales department during the project bid phase with the review of job specifications, compiling a list of exceptions and clarifications.

Review customer/project post sales documentation, extract relevant specifications and information accordingly to assure details are incorporated into equipment design.

Generate relevant project documentation and submit to customer in line with contract requirements and project timeline. Confirm product documentation (internal and external) is in compliance with the customer’s specification, company and industry standards.

Review mechanical equipment drawings to ensure adherence to purchase order, engineering design requirements, ASME standards, provincial requirements and confirm material of construction, size, schedule, rating, dimensions…etc.

Inspect mechanical equipment upon receipt to ensure adherence to purchase order and equipment drawings, ensuring installation ease. Provide assistance to company personnel on technical issues.

Inspect Foundation Protocol for equipments.
