Worked in the Nurpur Shahan village in the outskirts of capital city Islamabad. Our group conducted a research on fasting blood sugar levels in that community. This was mandatory for our community medicine module in 4th year of medical school. We went randomly to a number of houses in the village and took the permission from those willing to have their fasting blood glucose checked next morning. We went on to take readings on blood glucose monitor from a large number of people. The data was gathered in 2 weeks and almost 200 patients were included in our random study of fasting blood glucose testing. We formulated all the data on SPSS software and presented that to our module coordinators.
