Senior architect: Responsibilities included design, specifications, and architectural drawings on an Intergraph
Microstation for the Long Island Rail Road East Side Access Project.

Senior architect and team leader: Conducted building condition assessment surveys for school facilities in
New York City under contract with the New York City School Construction Authority.

Project Manager: Responsible for reviewing the shop drawings and submittals of apartment buildings ranging from
twenty to forty stories for the construction administration.
8/01-8/02 As an independent consultant, was responsible for specifications and construction drawings for roofing replacement
and asbestos abatement for apartment buildings that ranged from five to twenty stories. Also, bidding and choosing a
contractor for each apartment building. Microstation was used to produce the construction drawings.

Project manager, supervised the construction of one elementary and one high school. Conducted building condition
surveys for two high schools, four junior high schools, and eleven elementary schools.

Responsible for the renovation work of the Cromwell Recreation Center on Staten Island and a public school project in
Manhattan, as well as the survey of the roof replacements for the Fulton Houses in Manhattan. Microstation was used
to produce architectural drawings.
10/99-1/00 Responsible for nine stairway designs and drawings for the student center project at the state University of
New York at Stony Brook.

Construction manager for a storage facility: managed approximately 100 workers including masons, electricians,
mechanical engineers, fire sprinkler fitters, panel installers, plumbers, welders, water line and storm drain installers,
tunnel and boring workers, painters, and asphalt pavers, etc.

Project architect, responsibilities included both design and production of architectural drawings on Intergraph
Microstation for a power plant.

As a construction estimator, handled 23 projects of size ranging from 1 million to 40 million dollars. These
include 8 hotels, 3 condominiums, 7 high rise offices, 3 malls, a large residential project, and a factory,
took off the building materials from architectural drawings and structure drawings and categorized them into
standard categories for optimum utilization of labor and material. Did conceptual and detail quantity take off
for construction loan management and construction management, respectively. Used an IBM computer to
calculate and print the construction costs.
7/73-9/75 Nan-High Construction Company.
Summer (28 weeks), Winter (12 weeks).
Assistant superintendent during the construction period of Champion Fermentation Factory, managing about
200 workers including carpenters, masons, smiths, etc. The job included: (1) the supervision of all construction
activity, (2) the safety of the working field, (3) quality control, (4) a daily diary maintenance, (5) land survey,
(6) cost estimate, and (7) the management of personnel.
