Currently working as a Biomedical Engineer (Trainee) at St. James Hospital, Kerala, India.

Taking daily rounds to specified departments (MICU, CCU, Medical

wards,Orthoward,Physiotherapy,Paediatric ICU & Psychiatry) for checking equipment status.

Attending break-down calls, troubleshooting and resolving the problem at the earliest.

Perform preventive, annual and corrective maintenance, calibration of medical equipment owned by the

hospital in compliance with regulatory agencies.

Condemn equipments as per the policy, update and maintain the record for the same.

B-TECH LEVEL MAIN PROJECT

DEVELOPMENT OF GENERIC MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC INDEX

The main objective behind this work is to build up a patient monitoring system with ergonomic design.The

proposed system is a simple PMS with schematic representation of vital parameters displayed in different colours.The

main inspiration of this work is human factor consideration.It is based on the fact that normal human eye can perceive

only a maximum of 3 to 4 words at a single glance.This project makes the monitoring task much easier by displaying

different parameters in a single figure with numerical readings instead of graphical display. The work is done in

MATLAB platform.A GSM module to send message to the corresponding medical personnel in the case of any

abnormality is also incorporated.RF id is also included for storing patient history.

B-TECH LEVEL MINI PROJECT

SMART PHONE BASED LUNG FUNCTION ANALYSIS SYSTEM

This project is based on the analysis of peak expiratory flow which is a person's maximum speed of expiration.

The heart of the system is a PEF meter consisting of a tube and a differential pressure sensor. PEF readings are one of

the major indicators of the severity of asthma. This project will be a simple and accurate helping hand for the patients

who are suffering from asthma which is 80% of the total world population in the current scenario.
