Medical lab Technician

-I perform automated chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urine analyses as well as manual serology, rapid strep, rapid HIV, urine drug screens, urine and serum pregnancy testing, and urine microscopic tests. I review results to ensure accuracy prior to releasing into the LIS.

- I troubleshoot and maintain equipment, inform providers of critical test results, and input results into the Cerner Millenium LIS.
