Projects:

Solar Tracking System

The main objective of this project was to move the solar panel according to sun’s direction. In this project, we have used the AT89S51 microcontroller for managing the processing the data. The sensor constantly monitors the sunlight and provides the data of sunlight to microcontroller. Microcontroller is programmed to process the data and instruct the stepper motor to move the solar panel in the direction where the maximum sunlight is received. This way the microcontroller manages to move the solar panel where it finds maximum sunlight.
