Designed specialized airplane cockpit instrumentation showing landing gear position which resulted in preventing landing failures. I designed instrumentation to meet the varied requirements of the trucking and boating (including docking stations) industries.

Engineering Manager -- 1990/2010

I have worked with manufacturing and production managers to correct issues that were affecting quality. On occasions I dealt with legal issues regarding tools, intellectual property, trademark, & patent ownership. I was responsible with obtaining product patents and product testing with UL. Created all production & assembly manuals used for manufacturing.

Quality Assurance

I was responsible for all inspections of incoming parts with many items from the plastic molding industry. All tooling was built by molders to meet my design and specifications, including material used. I have experience working with plastic molders, screw machine, powdered metal and cold forming manufacturers.
