Position reported to Sr. Vice President of Human Resources at Health Quest with dotted line reporting to the President of Putnam Hospital Center. Member of the Senior Management Team responsible for providing strategic input to business decisions that affect the hospital.

At the corporate level (approximately 5000 employees):

Participate in the design and development of human resources policies and procedures as well as compensation programs, benefit improvements, and leadership development all in accordance with the strategic plan.

Design and implement employee engagement survey system wide.

Develop and monitor budget for the human resources department system wide.

At the local level (approx 1000 employees):

Responsible for interpretation and enforcement of human resources policies and procedures.

Oversight of performance management goal setting in correlation with business objectives.

Responsible for administering compensation programs. (Lawson System for all HR information)

Active participation in all union contract negotiations and employee grievances and arbitrations.

Oversight and participation in recruiting for all positions (Kenexa and iCims).

Address and respond to employee relations issues on all levels.

Provide education and guidance to all department heads as well as senior management with regard to all human resource related issues.

Work with Counsel to ensure adherence to all employment law concerns.

Facilitate new hire orientations.

Participate in senior leader rounding.

Participate in educational programs for leadership development.

Maintain all HR related Joint Commission requirements.

Manage, mentor, and guide human resources team.
