IoT project (POC) for a transportation company to collect, standardize and alert on vehicle data from various telemetry providers. Wrote SpringXD to collect, process and load to a Gemfire cluster and backup to S3 storage. Spring-XD will also be used to cache any persisted lookup data. Worked with the project team to design and implement the data ingestion process using Gemfire for ingestion sink and Python to automate the process. The initial setup was to get the ingested data into S3 and then use it as a source for real time analysis and test additional client use cases and higher data volumes.
