Job Responsibilities :- Site Supervision & Project Management of New 10MW Thermal Power Plant which includes,

- 3.3KV VCB ABB Switchboard

- 2.5MVA Transformer

- PCC Panel

- 36 TPH & 70 TPH MCC Panel

- 400 KVAR LT Capacitor Panel

- 120KVAR HT Capacitor Panel

- HT / LT VFD Panel

- 2x30KVA UPS Panel

- 110 V DC Battery Charger

- DOL and Star-Delta Starter

- ID, FD, PA, and BFWP Fan (Motor) etc.

Project Work :-

Handling all site activities necessary to complete work with safety measures.

Arranging all PTW, manpower and material for execution for work.

Continuously monitoring the parameter like voltage, current, oil & winding temperature, oil levels and breather condition of the transformer.

Trouble shoots if any faults occurs in switchgears, transformer, and motor starter etc.

To co-ordinate with electrical contractor for electrification, execution, erection and commissioning.

To check the entire work as according to approved drawing.

Testing & Servicing:-

1.Transformer – carrying out test like HV, Megger, Winding Resistance, BDV Test of Oil, Ratio test & Magnetic Balance etc.

2.Switchgear – carrying out test like HV, Contact Resistance, Contact Open Close Time, Megger etc.

3.Cable – carrying out test like HV, Polarity, Megger.

4.Earth Pit – carrying out test by Three Electrode Method or by Earth Resistance Meter.

Operation and Maintenance:-

Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of substation equipment including testing & troubleshooting.

Scheduling and planning predictive, preventive maintenance for client premises.

Assist field operation in determining in service equipment problem & failure.

Perform equipment failure reports and make recommendations as needed.

Analyzed test results of substation equipment and implemented repairs or improvements as needed.

Provide support to the field in equipment maintenance issues such as switchgears mechanism problem, component replacement etc.

Testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of RMU, switchgears and distribution transformer.

Cable laying upto 400 Sq mm and testing of all HT/LT cables.

Familiar with the O&M of switchgears of reputed make such as Schneider Electric (Areva), Alsthom, ABB, CG, L&T, and Siemens etc.

Job Carried :-Troubleshooting of 33KV & 22KV PCOB Breaker.

PROJECTS HANDLED:

2.DIL Limited, Ghodbunder Road, Thane:-

(Installation of New electrical equipments at 22 KV Sub-station.)

Providing & Erection of 22 KV Substation Equipments viz. 22KV circuit Breaker, Transformer, metering units, L.T. Panels, APFC panels etc.

Providing, Laying & Termination of H.T. / L.T. Termination & Earthing Works.

Various Electrical works, Repairs / Reconditioning of 1250KVA Transformer, 22 KV over head structure, Distribution Boards etc. along with associated works.

3.Emerson Climate Technologies (India) Pvt Limited, Karad :- (Shifting of Main Sub-station equipments to new location.)

Installation, Testing & Commisioning of 36KV, Drawout type, VCB, 630A, Indoor circuit breaker with Incoming / Outoing connection of ABB make.

Dismantling of L.T. Panel in sections, disconnection of cables, removing & shifting to new location alongwith miscellaneous sundry distribution components & erection of same, coupling etc. at new location.

Dismantling & shifting of Accoustic enclosure of DG set in parts & assembly of same at new place including necessary modifications as required. (Sundry materials included)

Making of Earthpits as per IS 3043 with Chamber cover, waterining pipe, Charcoal, Salt etc. & with plate.

●Responsibilities :-

Implementing Preventive/Predictive Maintenance as per the plan

Planning and implementing the Improvement projects as per the requirement in consultation with the Departmental head/user dept.

Interaction with concerned departments from time to time.

Problem identification & Solving ability of HT/LT switchgear.
