M Tech Project: An Efficient Partial Power Processing DC/DC converter for distributed PV architectures.

Outcome:- A simple high-efficiency dc/dc converter suitable for small distributed PV applications is designed and simulated . High efficiency is achieved by means of partial power processing of the converter. The maximum power of PV panel is tracked by the help of perturb and observe algorithm.

B E Project: Fault detection and protection of a single phase induction motor using wired system. Outcome:- Designed and developed a hardware circuit capable of detecting and rectifying the problems trite in Induction Motors such as Over Voltage over Current and over Temperature. We used a PIC Microcontroller (PIC18F458) coupled with various sensors to control the motor. If any of the parameters such as voltage, current and temperature exceeded a specific value, the Induction Motor would get turned off automatically thus preventing any further damage to the motor and any adjacent circuits.
