I have been working since I was **, when I started working at a Seafood restaurant. I was made Kitchen Manager after two years. That was my first experience with being responsible for leading others. Since then I have been placed in leadership roles at almost every place I have worked, after showing my aptitude for learning and teaching others. I have always enjoyed the challenges of learning new things and developing new ideas.

I am very involved in several social organizations. I am a Past Master of my Masonic Lodge. My dad was also a Past Master. My Grandfather was a member but never became Master of the Lodge. I am also a Past Royal Patron of my local Amaranth Court. Amaranth is a philanthropic organization for the wives, daughters, mothers or sisters of Freemasons. I served for several years as Royal Patron with my mother as Royal Matron. My Grandmother was one of the founding members of Asheville Court No. 1, the first one in the State of NC. My Dad also served as Royal Patron along with my Stepmother as Royal Matron. He went on to be Grand Royal Patron o I ver the state of NC and eventually the Supreme Royal Patron over the United States. I also have two aunts and a cousin that are and or were members. I am also a 32 Deg. Scottish Rite Mason and A Shriner. Community involvement is very important to me.

I am also a member of CBA, Concerned Bikers Association. A motorcycle rights organization. I served for 10 years as Legislative Coordinator for my local chapter. My duties entailed keeping the members informed of any legislation that concerned us as motorcyclists. I also go before the City Council and County Commissioners each year to receive a Proclamation proclaiming May as Motorcycle Awareness Month. I am also in charge of booking all the entertainment for a Rally we put on each year to raise money for our legislative endeavors. I’m also Road Captain of Fire and Iron MC, a Motorcycle Club for Firefighters. I worked as a Volunteer Fire Fighter several years ago along with my dad and step grandfather, Dale Lance. We are just a group of Fire Fighters who enjoy riding together and also raising money for different charities.

I am very well known in several different social circles around here and just want an opportunity to continue to grow here and be a part of my family. I put everything I have into every endeavor I undertake. I have experience in the Hospitality Industry, Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing, and many phases of Construction. The job market now is very competitive and I just need a chance to prove myself. I prefer family environments but can fit in and acclimate anywhere.
